Who should accept this

A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is the standard HIPAA contract about protecting client health information. It comes with Waves for every practice, on any plan, including a free trial.

• If HIPAA applies to your practice (for example, it bills health insurance electronically), this must be accepted before anyone there uses Waves with clients.
• One person accepts it, once. It should be someone who can sign for whoever bills the insurance: the practice or agency if clinicians work under it, or you yourself if you bill under your own name.
• It then covers everyone who works under that practice. Each clinician still agrees to the Clinical Terms in the app.
